Ulrich Perathoner is one of the leading art studios for woodcarving in the Italian Alps, where this craft developed in the mid-17th century. The artists at Ulrich Perathoner are from a long line of wood sculpting families. Ulrich began his career in 1976 at the School of Arts in Ortisei and then honed his artistic skills and knowledge at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. Since 2003, Ulrich’s son Daniel Perathoner has been creating beautiful wood sculptures, after his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich, where he graduated with Outstanding Artistic Achievement as a student of the master class.
Figures presented here are priced for 15cm or approximately 5.91 inches. These are carved wood with hand oil coloring.
Most figures are available in the following sizes: all in centimeters: 8, 10, 12, 15, 23, 50, 110. Larger sizes are available for custom orders.
